Rakshith Kadlar

Rakshit Kadlar completed his Masters in Fine Arts in 2013 from Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Art, Mysore and presently he works at his native place Koorg in Karnataka. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions since completing his Masters, including a residency with BAR1, Bangalore. Recently he exhibited his work in Seven Decades of Indian Drawing, 2014, IGNCA, Delhi. He attempts to play with the ideas of form to explore the concepts of innity and time. With this in mind, he is interested in the process of making circles as drawn spaces. The sequence and schemes involved in the making is much more relevant to him; even more important than merely making the object itself. That is, he is interested in exploring the form or in perhaps the more rudimentary sense of the circle. Towards this, he moulds the material of clay, to make miniscule balls as a compulsive exercise. His works are showcased at the show Stutter in your eloquence
